I’m going to read Cycle of the Werewolf next in my re-read of Stephen King.
Cycle of the Werewolf is only 123 pages long and contains illustrations. I don’t class it as a novel. It’s a novella in my book. I should get through it one sitting.
> Comic book artist Bernie Wrightson illustrates Cycle of the Werewolf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Wrightson)
> The novella is split into twelve sections representing the months of the year and each section is a self-contained story chronicling the victims of a werewolf
> Cycle of the Werewolf started out as a calendar. Each month was supposed to contain an illustration by Wrightson and a vignette by King. King found this difficult to do because of the size restrictions and the calendar became a novella
> Cycle of the Werewolf was adapted for the screen in 1985 as Silver Bullet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Bullet_(film). I’ve never seen it
I’ve read Cycle of the Werewolf a few times.
