I started to read Wonderland by Joyce Carol Oates (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderland_(novel)) last night. I’ve only read two chapters and I love it. This is going to be a good one. Wonderland is the second last un-read Oates novel on my shelves. I need to get a hold of some more.
Wonderland is the final novel in a series of novels written by Oates dubbed The Wonderland Quartet. The novels are thematically linked and deal with the struggles of ordinary everyday people at key points in American history (i.e. the race riots in Detroit).
The other three novels are A Garden of Earthly Delights, Expensive People and them. I’ve read and loved them as well so I expect good things from Wonderland.

My copy was published by The Modern Library (http://www.modernlibrary.com/) and I love the cover. I like the design of it and I love the way it feels. It’s all nice and crinkly and makes me want to read the words between the covers. All of my copies of The Wonderland Quartet are Modern Library versions.

I’ve read a few good stuff here. Certainly value bookmarking for revisiting. I surprise how much effort you place to create any such fantastic informative web site.
